Shanti Bhavan challenges destiny and aims to alter the personal, social, and economical outcomes of children who are born into extreme poverty. We tackle inequity and inequality by offering safety, addressing essential needs, and creating an enabling environment to allow self-exploration. And at the core of our approach is quality education.

Our mission is ambitious, and we have 20+ years and 150 graduates that prove the efficacy of the Shanti Bhavan model. Our success is a tribute to the collaboration of multiple stakeholders composed of families, staff, teachers, volunteers, local communities, alumni, and donors. We are a proud institution that is eager to reach more vulnerable children in our vision to eradicate poverty.
