At the heart of the Shanti Bhavan mission is our residential school. Located ninety minutes from Bangalore in Tamil Nadu, India, our beautiful campus hosts academic buildings, dormitories, a canteen, a medical clinic, practice fields, a playground, nature trails, a farm, and much more. Not just a school, Shanti Bhavan is a haven of peace where our children get to be kids.
Each year, Shanti Bhavan welcomes a new class of preschoolers: 12 girls and 12 boys. From prekindergarten to college graduation, each Shanti Bhavan child receives 17 years of education.
Shanti Bhavan provides each of its students with a robust, holistic education. Shanti Bhavan uses ISC (Indian School Certificate) curriculum because it challenges students academically, is taught in English, and allows our students to be competitive for college admissions on a global scale. It is one of the most rigorous curriculums taught in India.

Our curriculum adheres to the highest national standards, set by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Small class sizes and skilled teachers prepare students to enter India’s top universities.
Our students engage in public speaking and debate to develop their poise and confidence. They organize events and conduct leadership clubs, honing their ability to positively impact their communities.
We nurture integrity, generosity, and compassion in our children. Students learn life skills and become responsible citizens through guidance counseling and mentorship programs. They go on to apply the lessons they have learned at Shanti Bhavan by paying it forward to others in need.
The extracurriculars at Shanti Bhavan create a lively and vibrant campus. Alongside academics, these activities stimulate and enrich the students while they delve into the arts, humanities, STEM, sports, and more. The children stretch their abilities and broaden their interests as they connect with their peers, all while developing their creative minds. Our extracurricular offerings include our robotics team, soccer, basketball, the chess club, and much, much more.
